The E53’s spot-size ratio allows you to take the most accurate temperature readings on smaller targets, at farther distances.
The E53 measures up to 650°C (1200°F), offers 3 spot meters, and displays the max/min temperature within an area live, on-screen.
Customizable work folders, a built-in mic for voice annotation, and report generation feature all help the E53 streamline your workday.

The E53-24 produces standard radiometric JPEGs that can be opened and viewed without proprietary software. Image files produced by the E53-24 are supported by FLIR's Software Development Kit (ATLAS SDK), so that companies can use their own software and still support thermal measurement read-outs, METERLiNK data, and other important parameters embedded within the image; embedded current and voltage measurements are also accessible.

Not every target is large enough or close enough for proper measurement with a single lens. That is why FLIR designed the E53-24 with interchangeable 24°, 42°, and 14° lenses, so that you can use the same camera for every target you survey. The camera auto-calibrates with each new lens to ensure it produces high-quality images and precise thermal measurements.
Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX) Technology adds visible spectrum definition to IR images by detecting the edges of objects. Text becomes clearly visible so that you can read a label or identifier within the IR image. This exclusive function provides extraordinary thermal detail that instantly highlights and orients problem locations and eliminates the need to refer back to a visual image for detail.
